Nearly all our time was taken up by writing ff , compositions which at first appeared as comedies, but later seemed more QQ Lf'-.' like tragedies, especially on the grade card. VVe found our class adviser, ff-53 2, Mr. Ford, ever willing to lend a helping hand and give good advice. 1:11 'ag - Then the candy sale began. We were sure the Thundering Herd 2,94 f',-C3 was the correct na111e. Probably some of the survivors will be widely fm ff ' known as football stars in some other forln of sport. Should we or :wg iff- should we not get our rings this year? Must we wait another year? .'w.,!t5 '. . . Finally we did get them. With the combined efforts of the Junior and fa, '-QV, Senior classes the first year book was published. It was declared very ijoi an--.X good. At last this year was over and finally we were Seniors and de-- ,if-.X 4, f' serving of that title. What an excellent example we set for the under ff? , A-1 classmen as we look down upon them from our superior height. This - gg 7' year we chose David McClay as our leader, with Mary Post to make our 9'8 gluf dates, while the job of spending the money was given to Martha Lacock. QQ-lj Q,-' Horace Fulton, as Vice President, shall lend a helping hand at all :gf f' -'l times. -Us It 'H fx Q In glancing over the ranks of our class we find that since we started Tiff? :J here almost four years ago, many have dropped out. Some because they Q.: J Q3 ' ' moved away, others because of ill health and still others we do not know we '-,vt why. Many new ones have come from other schools, but the ones from ing Y,-Cy, other schools do not counterbalance the ones lost. yn -7 - - ' The Junior and Senior class organized a French Club with Miss Mc- Alf iff- Kean, the teacher of French, as leader and adviser. Another successful ft-.Eff ', .' club was the Go-to-College Club with Miss Irwin at the head. 2.2, -.fc-It On December 17th and 18th a group 'of fourteen popular and peppy tru: yn-by boys and girls of the class gave a vaudeville at the Waslnngton Theatre.
