Salem's dazzling floor work and shooting, especially on long shots, helped him to rack up 15 points. Top scoring honors for the night went to Delioster, Spent-er's fine center who made 21 points. Spencer opened fast and at one time had a l5-9 margin. 'Xt this point Salem and his mates took over and 'l'rinity led 28-22 at half time. The whole team in this game gave a brilliant exhibition of speed and shooting. Ul'TST.4.Yl1lJYC.' The score was deadloeked 9 times, and neither team ever had more than a fou r point margin. The half ended 12-12. The final quarter began with Central ahead 18-17. With the Nlaroons ahead by four points Connors sank a Helder and a pair of free throws to bring the count 21-21. M the automatic time-out it was 23-21, Trinity. With the count 26-26 came the play that broke the hearts of Trinity fans. Nlcfluire was open under tht- basket and took a pass from Salem and let go. The ball went in, came out, and spun for set-onds on the rim and Hna11y fell outside the hoop. Central gained possession and Wiatland let go with the game winning shot.
