To them we owe a great debt of gratitude for the kind and sincere interest they have taken in us during our happy high school days. They have endeavored to maintain standards of education approved by the State. That they have succeeded in this endeavor is shown by the splendid report sent to our office by Mr. John Calvin Hanna. Supervisor of High Schools. Accompanying this report is the renewal of our accreditment to the University of Illinois for three years. On April 15, notification of our acceptance by the North Central Association of Secondary Schools and Colleges was again sent to our Principal. This year two hundred sixty pupils are enrolled in high school. Eight Sis- ters teach the regular courses. Sister M. Rosa and Sister Mary john give lessons on the piano and violin. respectively. Sister M. Remberta has charge of the me- chanical drawing and art classes. Miss Gwendolyn Morris, Illinois State Normal University '29. conducts the Household Arts Department, and Miss Cecil McGraw of the Bloomington Conservatory of Music is director of the choral music. Sister M. Januarius, our beloved Principal, teacher and friend, who has been a member of the faculty for the past nine years, is spending her last year with us. We shall miss her. Mere words cannot tell how much. But she has woven her Christlike spirit into our lives and hearts in such a simple yet strong pattern that she will live in our memories always. We beg for her God's choicest blessings. THE SENIORS. Page 18
