Z CLUBBERS ARE ACTIVE A typical Z Club meeting. The Z club is a ser¬ vice organization who’s motto is Growth through Service. The activities this year included: working at the Midway Manor Nur¬ sing Home, and T.H.C.A. day care center, opening the school store, tutoring at the elementary school, making banners for athletic games, working in the con¬ cession stands and working at the Caddo Exceptional School. Elizabeth Stephens, Presi¬ dent, presides over all club meetings. Z clubbers who attended the workshop in Longview, Texas, include: FRONT ROW: Rhonda Jones, Sara Gould, Pam Langton, and Rhonda Cook. 4-HCLUB ACTIVE IN THIRD YEAR OFFICERS: Sonja McClure - President, Penny Van Hoose - Secretary and Reporter, Lisa Goben - Treasurer, Scott Saucier - Vice-President and Pro¬ gram Chairman. Sonja McClure was the state winner in the Dog Care and Training project. In 4-H club it is our motto To Make the Best Better, and the main requirement is a willing¬ ness to Learn by Doing. This is one way we gain responsibility, citizenship, and sportsmanship.
