Intercollegiate Council The purpose of the Intercollegiate Council is to promote better under- standing and cooperation among Champlain College, St. Michael ' s College, Trinity College, the University of Vermont, and the Jean Mance School of Nursing. Its field of cooperation includes intellectual, social, and cultural activities that would require or suggest intercolle- giate support, coordination and goodwill. Each member school has a Campus Coordinator who coordinates all campus activities and has charge of the ICC Calender, ICC Student of the Week, and the Coun- cil Directory. 40

MARRIAGE CLUB The purpose of the Marriage Chib is to prepare students for the role they will as- sume as Christian wives and mothers. Its objectives are fulfilled by means of discus- sions, movies and guest lecturers. President: Bemadette Amaro, Vice-President: Candy Bott ATHLETIC CLUB The Athletic Club provides a program which furthers the enjoy- ment and understanding of the sports world and promotes the principles of good sportsmanship. It organizes intramural and in- tercollegiate basketball games. During the winter, it takes ad- vantage of the excellent .skiing facilities found in Vermont, by organizing trips to nearby areas. In the spring, free golf lessons are offered to any interested persons. 39

Who ' s Who Who ' s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges se- lects its members on the basis of scholarship, participation, and lead- ership in academic and extracurricular activities, promise of future usefulness, citizenship and service to the school.
