The high note of any songfest, she makes our choir trips complete vv ith her renditions of Summertime and Hard-hearted Hannah. Why English books are so big we will never know, but our little friend can certainly lose herself behind them. With her skip and her lively smile, there ' s no doubt that she will soon be discovered. One of Vermont ' s staunch Democrats, the Ver- gennes Flash has been not only theoretically but actively connected with politics, as evidenced by her capable leadership of our class for two years. Of course, this is only one aspect of Annie ' s many-faceted personality. If not found playing the piano, perhaps you would find her dashing around the campus or- ganizing for some club or class project. Whether on the basketball court, quietly listening to her stereo, composing a seminar, or just plain being friendly, rarely could you find a more likeable and interesting person. LINDA M. YAGER B.S. The sight of Tessie the Last of the Hudsons on the shores of Lake Bomoseen is a sure indication that Linda isn ' t practicing on her slide rule. But who needs a slide rule to be a tennis expert, an amateur football hero or a snowbunny? There seem to be two places which an ingenious Lucy has related— Leavenworth Hall, Feb. ' 61, 5 a.m., and Mercy Hall, Dec. ' 62, 5 p.m. No matter what place or time of day, it is char- acteristic of Linda to always do things the best way she can. 96
