AAARY P. TALBOT Rockaway Beach, New York B.A. History K.M.S. 1, 2, 3, 4, N.F.C.C.S. 1, 2, 3, 4, Dramatics 1, 2, 3, 4, Sec-Treas. 2, Pres. 3, Class Play 1, 4, l.R.C. 2, 3, 4, Arlstos 3, 4, Tau Kappa— Treasurer. Mary is one of our conscientious history majors who always has so much to do and can never find the time to get started. As a staunch supporter of the Dramatic Club, she has overcome every difficulty with her motto: The show must go on. Mary ' s generous nature is tainted by her one slightly parsi- monious habit of asking for a cup of hot water. As one of the truly sophisticated membe rs of our class, Mary is sure to make a name for herself in the teach- ing profession. MARGARET R. THOMAS B.A. Shelburne, Vermont English K.M.S. 1, 2, 3, 4, N.F.C.C.S. 1, 2, 3, 4, Music Club 1, Aristos 2, 3, 4, l.R.C. 2, 3, 4, Literary Club 3, 4, Class Play 4, Dean ' s List 2, 3, Tau Kappa, WHO ' S WHO. Peg, the only dairy princess who ' s afraid of cows, has endeared Shelburne and her home to many of the senior class. A treasure wrapped in a red sweater almost bypassed Peggy freshman year, but her shop- ping experience made her recognize a true bargain. Peg ' s wit is surpassed only by her generosity, and her willingness to lend a helping hand. Her quick mind and high ideals will assure Peggy a respected place in the field of education. 93

Junior Delegate 2, 3, Aristos 3, Triad 3, 4, K.M.S. 1st Vice-President, Dean ' s List 1, 2, 3, WHO ' S WHO, Tau Kappa. Loretto, our Irish lass with Scottish tastes, is prob- ably the busiest blonde on two campuses. With a hand in many school activities, and a foot on the gas pedal of her restless Renault, she has claimed the title of St. Michael ' s most outstanding mathema- tician. Trinity might phrase its sentiments to the tune of the Famous Charlie Brown— Good grief, what talent! PATRICIA A. SULLIVAN Ramsey, New Jersey B.S. Chemistry K.M.S. 1, 2, 3, 4, N.F.C.C.S. 1, 2, 3, 4, Sodality 1, Athletics 1, 2, Aristos 1, 2, Secretary-treasurer 2, Music Club 1, 2, 3, 4, Treasurer 1, President 3, 4, Class Play 3, 4, Class Treasurer 4, Dean ' s List 2, WHO ' S WHO, Tau Kappa. When Irish eyes are smiling they ' re likely to belong to our vivacious Pat. Whether scurrying to an early 9 A.M. class at U.V.M. or trudging up the hill to a late choir rehear sal, Pat always manages to find time for skiing or a quick set of tennis. As an active member of the Class of ' 64, her style is poised, her wit spontaneous and her knowledge shining. 92

JOAN F. TOWNE Montpelier, Vermont B.S. Chemistry K.M.S. 1, 2, 3, 4, N.F.C.C.S. 1, 2, 3, 4, Triad 1, 3, Music Club 1, 3, 4, Aristos 2, 3, 4, Tau Kappa. The scuffling of feet and a cheerful hi char- acterize our generous Joannie. An expert in the culinary arts, Joan is a contrast of ruffles and sneakers. Warm sunshine and the musical puttering of a Model A Ford present the ideal setting for this admirer of Vermont life. NANCY J. TURCOTTE Fitchburg, Massachusetts B.A. English K.M.S. 1, 2, 3, 4, N.F.C.C.S. 1, 2, 3, 4, Aristos 1, 2, 3, 4, Class Secretary 3, Literary Club 3, 4, Triad 3, Class Play 3, Business Manager Tau Kappa. Style and poise, topped off with a pleasant smile are characteristic of Nancy Jane. An avid sun-wor- shiper, she likes Beach Wagons almost as much as the beach itself.
