J. MARIE KIESLICH B.A. Burlington, Vermont Sociology K.M.S. 1, 2, 3, 4, N.F.C.C.S. 1, 2, 3, 4, Sodality 1, 2, 3, 4, Vice-Prefect 4, Music Club 1, 3, Co-Chairnnan Choral Festival 3, Tau Kappa. Hate that grey? Not Marie, for this particular Burl- ingtonian has no time to worry about things like that. After all, it does take time to play chauffeur and to entertain hungry dorm students. Who could forget Choral Festival ' 63 or those constant statements of the need to study? But there are activities other than the academic which attract the girl who sneezes at perfume. High on this list is travel. Europe appears to be the biggest drawing card, and it is very likely that Miss Marie ' s friendliness will be as evident on that side of the ocean as it has been to us. DIANE M. LAFAYETTE Burlington, Vermont B.A. English K.M.S. 1, 2, 3, 4, N.F.C.C.S. 1, 2, 3, 4, I.R.C. 2, Day Hop Representative 3, Tau Kappa. Diane is one of the few Seniors preparing to teach in elementary school— a fact perhaps influenced by the large number of children in her family. As Day Hop Representative in her Junior year, she was in- fluential in making day hops more a part of campus activities. Her quick smile and mischievous eyes are indicative of her fun-loving nature and her get-up and go ! 84

SALLY-ANN HAZARD B.A. Manchester, Connecticut Spanish K.M.S. 1, 2, 3, 4, N.F.C.C.S. 1, 2, 3, 4, Sodality 1, 2, 3, 4, Secretary 3, Prefect 4, Aristos 1, 2, 3, 4, Class Treasurer 2, 3, Dean ' s List 3, Tau Kappa. Friendliness and co-operation are certainly out- standing in Sally in whatever type of activity she happens to be engaged. In the spring and fall her white convertible serves as a taxi and fun-mobile. She enjoys munching on maple fudge or bananas and amusing people with the antics of Harvey Beaver. Leisure hours find her reading contemporary cards and novels. The summer of ' 63 saw Trinity well rep- resented in Spain, where Sally attended school and toured parts of Europe. JANE E. KERIN B.A. West Hartford, Connecticut Sociology K.M.S. 1,2, 3,4, N.F.C.C.S. 1, 2, 3,4. Tea time is every time for Jane, whether it be at Dan ' s or over a hand of bridge. Positive thinking and a quick reply best characterize this industrious girl. An enthusiastic social worker, Jane has a mind of her own, a quality sure to bring her distinction in this new field. Politically sleeping, . . . uh, speaking, you know where you can always find Jane. 83

AAARLYNN E. LA LUNA B.A. Stratford, Connecticut Sociology K.M.S. 1, 2, 3, 4, Secretary 2, N.F.C.C.S. 1, 2, 3, 4, Sodality 1, Athletics 1, 2, 3, 4, Aristos 1 , 2, 3, 4, I.R.C. 1, Triad 1, 2, 3, 4, Assistant Editor 2, Editor 3, Senior Advisor 4, Music Club 1, Literary Club 3, 4, Class Vice-President 3, Class Play 3, Tau Kappa, Lay- out Editor. Always snniling, always up to her neck in activities, AAarlynn is the blithe spirit of the senior class. Mention of deadlines and layout elicit a shudder from Mel, but anyone will tell you that when there ' s a job to be done, she ' s always annong the first to volunteer. Marlynn ' s winter weekends are spent ski-bumnning at Stowe, but the ' pole ' she ' ll remember has nothing to do with skiing. Her candor, her extreme generosity, and her exuberant spirit have made her a never-to-be-forgotten member of the class of ' 64. LINDA M. LORD St. Johnsbury, Vermont B.A. English K.M.S. 1, 2, 3, 4, N.F.C.C.S. 1, 2, 3, 4, Athletics 1, 2, Sodality 3, 4, Triad 3, 4, Literary Club 3, 4, I.R.C. 4, Dean ' s List 3, WHO ' S WHO, Literary Editor, Tau Kappa. Still waters run deep is the best description of the talented girl known simply as ' L. ' Having gained the reputation of being Trinity ' s Poet Laureate, Linda may be found distributing her care packages, com- posing another masterpiece, or quietly purring after a dose of T.L.C. Although blissfully unaware of pragmatism, she remains sensitive to the feelings of others, and her determined aversion to Joe Col- lege is an indication of her interest in each person as an individual. 85
