JOYCE AA. EDSON Barre, Vermont B.A. History K.M.S. 1, 2, 3, 4, N.F.C.C.S. 1, 2, 3, 4, Athletics 1, KR.C. 1, 2, 3, 4, Music Club 1, 2, Dramatics 3, Class Representative 3, 4, Tau Kappa. A tiny pixie hidden behind large black sunglasses is Joyce, wandering around in a fog. Must be that she has found a new book to read or thought to ponder. If she is not pouring coffee or sorting shirts, perhaps one would find Joyce deep in a discussion of the cons of Goldwater or Republicans in general. WHO turned out the lights? BARBARA M. FABIAN West Rutland, Vermont B.A. History K.M.S. 1, 2, 3, 4, N.F.C.C.S. 1, 2, 3, 4, Sodality 1, 2, 3, 4, Music Club 1, 2, 3, I.R.C. 2, 3, 4, President 4, Triad 4, Dean ' s List 3, WHO ' S WHO, Tau Kappa. Never seeking personal recognition, she has lent her support wholeheartedly to both school and class activities. Her success as President of I.R.C. exempli- fies her zeal while her ability in playing the accordian exemplifies her talent. Though an accomplished artist in her own right, Barbara confesses that she devotes most of her time to writing for history seminars and playing cards, even if it is late at night. Her ambition is to see the world before settling down.

CHRISTINE S. DOYLE B.A. AAontpelier, Vermont Sociology K.M.S. 1, 2, 3, 4, N.F.C.C.S. 1, 2, 3, 4, Sodality 1, 2, 3, 4, Prefect 3, Class Secretary 2, Music Club 1, Tau Kappa. Manechewiczl — what a smile! And smile Chrissie did in her capacity as general alarm system for all members of the class of ' 64 who wished to rise at 6:15 a.m. The meticulous half of the Kool Aid Kids is, confidentially, prepared for any occurance. Our cat ' s meow, though not artistic, is one who appre- ciates fine art. Christine ' s character is one which is appreciated and respected by all. MARY ANN DUFFY Milton, Vermont B.S. Business Ed. K.M.S. 1, 2, 3, 4, N.F.C.C.S. 1, 2, 3, 4. Mary Ann, a Business major from Milton planning to teach in New York City, admits that she gives the impression of the typical small town girl in the big city. While it is true that she is extremely honest and unaffected, she isn ' t really as naive as all that. Her great loves at the present are Jackie Kennedy, Ray Charles, long car rides. Democrats in general, and making frequent soft quips. Mary Ann ' s never- failing sense of humor and constant optimism have brightened many a day in the past four years. 80

NANCY E. FERN North Adams, Massachusetts B.A. English K.M.S. 1, 2, 3, 4, N.F.C.C.S. 1, 2, 3, 4, Aristos 1, 2, 3, 4, Sodality 1, Class Vice-President 4, Literary Club 3, 4, Vice-President 3, Triad 1, 2, 3, Class Play 3, Tau Kappa. Mischievous are her snnile and disposition, but dependability highlights her character. Nancy ' s con- tagious laugh and fun-loving personality are a definite asset to any group. Her type of tastes are as ex- pensive as her mohair blanket and her nameless French poodle. The teaching field is sure to welcome Nancy ' s ability and perseverance. MARGARET M. FLANAGAN B.A. Brooklyn, New York History K.M.S. 1, 2, 3, 4, N.F.C.C.S. 1, 2, 3, 4, Sodality 1, 2, Athletics 1, 2, 3, Aristos 2, I.R.C. 4, Dean ' s List 1, Tau Kappa. When speaking of Margaret, we all agree that the eyes have it! Never one to hold back in a dis- cussion group, she is well known for her timely quips and animated hands. Her vivacious personality complemented by self-composure remains fearless except when on the New York subway! Margaret proves that you can take the girl out of the city, but you can ' t take the city out of the girl. 82
