MARGARET A. BUFALINO Swampscott, Massachusetts B.S. Mathematics K.M.S. 1, 2, 3, 4, N.F.C.C.S. 1, 2, 3, 4, Class Secretary 1, Athletics 1, 2, 3, Aristos 1, 2, 3, 4, Dramatics 3, 4, Triad 1, Class Play 1, 4, Tau Kappa. Head down, chin tucked in, we find Buffy snow- plowing down to the shower. She has majored in math but has admitted that her real goal in life is to be a ski bum. Our star guitar player (she knows Greenfields ) quits the books with the first snow and heads for Mt. Mansfield, where she is strictly professional. Her happy smile, contagious laugh, and ability to give a frank and honest answer to any question will make us remember her always. MARION F. BUMFERD Wilmington, Vermont B.A. Sociology K.M.S. 1, 2, 3, 4, N.F.C.C.S. 1, 2, 3, 4, Music Club 1, 2, 3, 4, Sodality 1, 2, 3, 4, Treasurer 2, l.R.C. 3, 4, Tau Kappa. Cheerfully smiling and interested in everyone, Chubbs is most often found in the midst of a con- versation. Her aversion to cornflakes and devotion to George exemplify her fine sense of humor. A combination of strong perseverance and appreciation of sincerity assures Marion of future success. 74

JOSEPHINE B. BOVE B.S. Burlington, Vermont Business Ed. K.AA.S. 1, 2, 3, 4, N.F.C.C.S. 1, 2, 3, 4. Closed today, chef gone and got nnarried, was the humorous sign that announced Jo ' s wedding. The Isle of Capri will always hold a favorite memory of that honeymoon abroad. It wasn ' t long before Jo was back at her books, but excitement soon re- turned, in the form of political success which made her the First Lady of Ward 5. The Mona Lisa of the Class of ' 64, Jo is a woman with a definite future. RHODA BRENNAN Cedar Grove, New Jersey B.A. English K.AA.S. 2, 3, 4, N.F.C.C.S. 2, 3, 4, Dramatics 3, 4, Triad 3, Literary Club 4, I.R.C. 4, Class Play 3, 4, Tau Kappa. Rhoda, the original nebish, has the happy talent of being completely at home and enjoying herself almost anywhere. Although most often found in levis and a sweatshirt, she occasionally surprises us with a fit of sophistication. Rhoda ' s wit and her definite ideas on every subject have amused and amazed many a friend. Often realistic, often highly impractical, sometimes quite sentimental— one thing about Rhoda is certain: she will always find life interesting and in turn make it interesting for those around her. 73

KAREN C. BURNETT Concord, New Hampshire B.S. Medical Technology K.AA.S. 1, 2, 3, 4, N.F.C.C.S. 1, 2, 3, 4, Junior Delegate 2, Senior Delegate 3, Regional Secretary 4, Sociality 1, 2, 3, 4, Secretary 4, Aristos 1, 2, Dramatics 1, Class Play 1, 2, 3, I.R.C. 1, 2, Music Club 1, 2, Tau Kappa. Karen is an individual whose varied abilities are demonstrated in many activities on campus. Her out- standing work for N.F.C.C.S. has earned her a posi- tion as regional secretary. As the surviving Med Tech of the class, she has been busy attending lectures at U.V.M. and taking care of her black and blue arm. In her spare time after her evenings in the library, Chirp may be found answering airmail letters from Colorado. KATHLEEN M. CAHILL Westport, Connecticut B.A. English K.M.S. 1, 2, 3, 4, N.F.C.C.S. 1, 2, 3, 4, Music Club 1, Aristos 2, 3, 4, I.R.C. 2, 3, 4, Literary Club 3, 4, Secretary 3, Co-Chairman Jr. Weekend, Triad 4, Dean ' s List 3, WHO ' S WHO, Editor Tau Kappa. Kathy, a paragon of responsibility and generosity, can always come up with a quick reply to any question. Three years work at Overton ' s Hot Dog Stand has sharpened her wit considerably, although it may possibly have induced the habit of pacing while on the telephone. Kath is probably the only one of us who has good reason to remember the first T.C.-S.M.C. Mixer, and she holds a table in Bove ' s to be very dear to her. Our luxury-loving Kath has deeply rooted qualities of sincerity and loyalty which have made her an outstanding friend and will undoubtedly make her future happy and secure. 75
