These- duties must be assumed in turn by those who take the places thus leftlvacant. The class of '88 are now about to take their depart- ure, they have done their part, they have furthered the interests and reputation of the Collegefin many ways. It now devolves upon the class of '89 to take the places which '88 leave, andto assume the duties which they lay aside. ' 8 The first, and we could almost say the greatest, of these duties is the perpetuation of the good old college traditions.
