The choir's major change was its coming under the new direction of Mr. Dan Sytsma, a professor in his first year with Trinity. This year's choir, including some new first-year voices, practiced many hours to prepare for their perfor- mances throughout the year. Includ- ed in these performances were a cou- ple of chapel appearances, as well as some evening concerts, on and off campus. Trinity was also privileged this year with the start of a Gospel choir. Directed by Deb Posey and Zantesah Ingalls, and accompanied by Ocie Booker, the choir was blessed with great success. Since its chapel debut, it was well received by all at the college. Every chapel ser- vice led by the Gospel choir was very well attended. Many people were moved as the choir witnessed and lifted praises to the Lord in song. If the commitment and enthusiasm of the newly-formed Gospel choir con- tinues, it has the potential of enjoy- ing many more fulfilling years per- forming for the Trinity community.
