Thank you, Lord, for the community of Trinity, for sand in mortar, for beams from trees, for those who support, for those who maintain, for those who lead, for those who are led. Thank you, Lord, for the community of Trinity, for podiums and group response, for cheers and hockey pucks, for coffee mugs, for stereos, for table talk and dinner plates, for liymnals and a psalm. Thank you, Lord, for the community of Trinity, for academic fellowship, for entryways and crowded halls, for things to share and those to share them with, for purpose, and for prayer. Thank you, Lord, for our varieties of response, for joy, for love, for musing and concern, for laughter and reflection. And thank you, Lord, for insight found in class, in talk, and in solitary study, for revelation of your Law for your creation, and for our power to form according to your Word. but Lord, our sin - our broken lives - closed to others and they to us 4 joy turned to frantic compulsion - we reject and distort the fullness of your gifts. Thank you, Lord, that in Christ we are re-created. Our sin is forgiven, and we are healed. We praise you for your Kingdom, for the use of your Creation, for the direction of your Word, and for our growth in your Spirit. Allelu!
