The Distinguished Christian Student Awards originate from the Association of Christian Schools International. This organization is dedicated to ex- cellence in private school education. The Distinguished Christian Student Award is presented to those students demonstrating leadership, academic excellence and a strong Christian witness. N A T I 0 N A L H O N O R S 0 c 1 E T Y The National Honor Society was founded to give recognition to students who show outstanding qualities of scholarship, service, leadership, and Christian character. This is one of the highest honors that Trinity can bestow upon a student. The members of the National Honor Society repre- sent the qualities Trinity hopes to instill in all students. Trinity received the National Honor Society charter in December 1975. Outstanding sophomores and juniors are inducted into the Na- tional Honor Society each May. 214
