Reflections Staff It’s 2:00 A.M. — quad-paks everywhere ... “Where’s a cropper when you need one?” “Who’s the jerk that lost the stamp?” “Do not wander in the halls, do not pass go, do not collect $200.” “This is a class like any other class” ... These are all well-known statements among the 1982-83 yearbook staff. Being on the Reflections Staff requires patience, skill, and the ability to work well with people. There is a great amount of pressure, especially before deadlines, and prayer is a must. Yet, in spite of all this, the staff has lots of fun and there is a great reward in being able to see the result of one’s work. A special word of thanks goes to Mrs. Underhill, the yearbook sponsor, Mrs. Sides, the business manager, and Mr. Linebarger, the photography director. Standing: Jennifer Jurgensen, Matt Raker, Wendy Maurer, Robin Sugg, Amity Booth, Kristy Schweinsberg, Sylvia Powers, Tracy Newberry Below: Tonnya Turner, Susan Stokes, Shelly Russell, Phil Miner 192

Trinity’s Homecoming 1982 was a great success. The Student Council expended much time and ef- fort to create a very exciting day. 'I'he festivities began with a Hawaiian dress-up day appropriate for a beach theme. At the end of the day there was a huge pep rally complete with class yells and a skit by the drill team and varsity cheerleaders. The Student Council sponsored a contest for the best decorated wall and the senior class won. The night ended with ice cream provided by the Student Council. The hours of work paid off. Homecoming ’82 was a great success.

Journalism Staff Launches “Clarion” “The pen is mightier than the sword,” eleven high school journalists firmly believe. Armed with their pens, the members of the “Clarion” (meaning a battle cry) staff meet to keep the school in touch with the news. They take turns at interviewing, editing and covering special events. The school paper has been revived after two years of silence. The staff completed several newsprint editions of which Trinity can be proud. The “Clarion” staff includes Scott Peterson (Editor), Holly Hargis (Assistant Editor), Andrea Lyall, Martha Moock, Mike Lamb, James Davidson, Becky Grimm, Dee Hill, Dana Chiattello, Lockette Meador, Crissy Meroney and sponsor Martha Eubank. Special thanks to Audrey Sato for designing “The Clarion” banner! Activities 193
