The Year In Review Trinity started the season playing against Greenhill. Greenhill’s final season record was 7-1-1 with their only loss being to Trinity. Trinity won by a score of 36 to 3 and Darren Weatherford had 195 yds. rushing. This was an extremely good start for the opening game of the season. The mighty Trojans went on to play their second game at Wylie in front of 4000 fans. Playing a 3A high school, the Trojans went down to the last minute of play leading the game 9-7. But Wylie scored, with a minute left to play, on a 4th down pass, to win the game 12-9. It was a very exciting game. 'The Cistercian game also presented a challenge, however the Trojans played extremely well in the second half winning with a score of 30-0. One key note in this game is that the Trojans held Cistercian to minus 12 yards rushing which really says something about the mighty Trojan defense. 146 Sports
