The faculty and the students werejust as anxious to start the brand new year as was President Beaumont Davison, who began his first year as President of the University. Dr. Davison said he was really glad to be here, as he tools charge of the universities direction. The new president grasped on to what he inherited and direct- ed us through a successful year. Through improvements and changes, the 1984 school year straightened the direction of upholding Tri-State's tradition of professional level career education. President Davison conducted the year with diligence and confidence from the beginning, goals were developed and pursued immediately. President Davison tools a big step in beautifying, improving, and maintaining the campus ap- pearance.
