This student body is made up of students who know the value of a technical education in the job market in the world which lies beyond the protective wall of the public school. These are the students who will have a choice. If college is what they want, they will have the academic foundation for it, if it is business that they want, they will have the skills needed, if it is industry that beckons, they will have the training needed. Teacher And n dministrator To Honor Mr. Mike Palmer Vice-Principal Mr. Mike Palmer became a Vice-Principal at Tech in 1965. Working with a technical school was not a new experience for him, because he had been associated with Technical institute be- fore becoming Vioe-Principal. The teachers know Mr. Palmer as the one person who can cheer one with a witty remark, or the one who has time to listen when they have discipline problems. The students know Mr. Palmer as one who will listen when they are in trouble. After he has listened, he may send the student home, but the student knows that he has had fair treatment. His job will be difficult to fill--We are sorry to see you leave, Mr. Palmer. X xv 5 . Q, ,Q Q.. ,-Q If ia, K A
