The Scholafs Lighthouse A lighthouse casts its crystal beam Upon an open sea. A strong wind stirs the ocean 's foam, A seagull wails a plea. The rugged cliffs along the banks of some dark, restless shore, Await the shimmering, guiding light Of the tower evermore. Across the rolling ocean's waves, The lighthouse beam reflects. Upon some lonely ship it casts An aura of grave respect. It oftewcalms a troubled sea, Sheds light on danger's path. It's often found when sorely needed, And subdues a raging wrath. Atop a hill, the lighthouse stands, Its golden hand stretched forth. Its crystal beam spreads 'cross the sea, From east to west, from south to north. As doves do glide upon the breeze In perfect and gentle array, E So, then, does this lighthouse stand supreme Beside its sea-shelled bay. Education, like a lighthouse beam, Brightens our future 's trail. It guides us to untold success When our ship of life sets sail. It is the hope on which we lean When a stormy crisis is nigh, And what worthier place to secure this gift-- Than at Trimble Technical High! --David Lang
