Anderson Mrs. Ruth Thompson Senior Counselor Sophomore Counselor i 1 The duties of a counselor are so varied that each one of Technical's counselors needs to be two or three people in one, because there are over 500 pupils for each one. The aims of these counselors are to help students schedule their subiects, by means of tests, to select the right vocational field, and to plan for college. In addition to these aims, there are many smaller problems that arise in the every day life of the student that his adviser helps him with. Technical's counselors not only have ability, but even more essential, they have patience.

Attendance Mrs. Faye Casper Secretary Secretory to Principal Mrs. Evelyn Main Secretary and Bookkeeper Miss Willie Mae Jenkins Secretary and Registrar Complexities of A Technical School Require Expert Secretaries N0 ONE, least of all Mrs. Billie Girouard, can ever figure out how Mr. A. B. O'Connor maintains such an energetic pace. As Mr. O'Connor's secretary, Mrs. Girouard commonly finds herself doing many things at the same time. Here she checks insurance packets while Mr. 0'Connor speaks with an uniden- tified student. MRS. FAYE CASPER MAY BE half buried in requisitions, but she must drop all of them when the period bell rings in order to sell school supplies, football tickets, and to minister to the numerous other needs of students who have only five min- utes in which to get it all done. lf Mrs. Casper's smile some- times turns into a growl, it is understandable.
