Now comes the thought of departure the time when it's anchors aweigh, hoist the mainsail, and push on into an uncharted sea. We are all Columbuses in the sense that we know our destina- tion is out there—the problem is find- ing it. Through life will come the tempests and storms of life. We pray that we may fall back on knowledge and wisdom gained in schooling. But whether the sailing be smooth, or our craft tossed about, we will always be proud to have been the 1969 GRADUATING CLASS OF TRIMBLE COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL. 6

Then—our teachers. These scalawags ATTLMPTTD to increase our educa- tional level. We are grateful to them for relinquishing their hours to prevent our being keelhauled. We hope that someday, some of their teaching will over- shadow our faults. Then, to the Captain of the Ship. To have been the Old Man of this tub for only three years, he has accomplished miracles. He got us our first prom, our first homecoming, our first student council—he has done more than his share to make our ship seaworthy.
