FORENSICS In the beginning of this school year, forensic work was introduced into our school. Much interest has been shown throughout the year, and both the debate teams and the other speech activities have brought many honors to our school. In the Third District Forensic Tournament held at Hopkinsville March 23, T. C. H. S. was the runnerfup, While Hopkinsville won the loving cup for first honors, and Princeton ranked third. Schools from six counties were represented in this contest. Our debate teams participated' in 37 interscholastic debates during the year. These debates were on the national high school question, 'LResolved, that the Federal Gover nf ment should own and operate the railroads. T.C.H.S. debated the following schools: Tilghman Cof Paducahl, Murray Training School, Benton, Dawson Springs, Eddyville, Madisonville, Hopkinsville, Heath, Reidland, Mayfield, Bartlett, TennesseegWinchester, Tennessee, Whitehill, Tennesseeg Murphreesboro, Tennessee, Castle Heights Military Academy, Huntes High of Memphis, and Messick High of Memphis, Miss Frances Henson is our speech instructor and debate coach.
