own lubrary November School was progressung fast at least there were unducatuons of thus by the lost and found sale-glasses books pens and penculs lp stucks purses sweaters locks combs and key cases The clubs too were progressung We uouned the Qull and Scroll Camera and Spanush clubs went to the Varsuty club banquet started the lO hour lecture course of the newly organuzed Staff Assustance corps danced at the Home Ec club Turkey trot added our name to the 708 others un the Red Cross membershup druve and competed un the GAA rung tennus tournament Whule teachers were busy fullung out our personaluty ratung cards classes were also busy woodworkung I made benches for Cuvuluan Defense posts and checker boards for Red Cross sewung I classes made a wool quult for the Red Cross busuness Englush had Book week specual reports and typung ll studued terms used un US servuce Our assem blues were varued-exchange speakers from Warwood choruses and an explanatuon of the Junuor Red Cross As for sports we lost the Lunsly game but when our I6 senuors were makung theur funal showung Warwood lost the tradutuonal Thanksguvung game The band marched our Red and Block unto the Truadelphua dustruct communutues to keep up morale Senuors were scratchung autographs un memory books obtauned from Merrells when they ordered announcements and name cards October Football was the r ge Sx gurls un r d skurts and one boy un black trousers all topped wuth dazzlung whute sweaters adorned wuth large Ts and black megaphones pranc d before the spectators We tallued two games from luv for the records anyway And then school spurut moved from gruduron to the runk There were 354 loyal Truads attendung our furst month y roller skatung party The Truadelphuan subscruptuon campaugn started wuth a bang and ended wuth a dance Those red tags we got for subscrubung admutted us A free paper was sent out to all former Truads now un the servuce whose addresses were avaulable Now that they knew theur
