New fluorescent lights were put in all classrooms, paint was supplied in the interior of the building, 500 window shades were hung, and a steam heating system was put in the field house. For all these improvements we thank the following men: C. B. Montgomery, assistant superintendent, L. Budd Haber- stick, M. L. Tustin, William F. Garden, president, Fred F.. Cowl, W. A. Fritz, and I. It is unfair to poke fun at the Varsity Club members, because it is rather hard for thirty healthy, normal boys to be quiet. Oh yes, there's a thrill to the rush and excitement of being back stage, though few of us realize the real work and responsibility that rests on the shoulders of these earnest, young Thespians. This year, as for the past few years, the Masquers throw their bouquets to the small, exacting person of Miss lfthyl Snyder, who acted as their sponsor and directress. She has supervised nine months full of activity with tryouts, a Christmas program, initiation banquet, two cabaret dances, and assembly plays. G. A. A.
