Mr. Custy's Message To the Class of 1985: Graduation is oftentimes referred to as a time of excitement. It is exciting because, for the first time, you alone will be planning your schooling; others will continue with current employment; and others will seek new employment or possibly enter the military. These are exciting decisions to make and they are exciting because they are so important to you. You should now realize that your options are directly related to the skills that you have learned and you will soon realize that you must continue to learn new skills, whether they be academic, occupational or social, if the excitement is to continue. The only difference is that, in the future, you make those decisions and set the pace that best meets your needs. So, my message to you is that, if you accept the concept that learning never ends, your new skills will always provide the excitement felt with each new success. Congratulations!
