TALENT ABOUNDS AT TREZEVANT leave Brigadoon. Tommy and Jeff learn the secret from the school master, Mr. Lundie fHal Fulleri. To prevent the town from com- ing under the influence of evil from the out- side, the preacher prayed for a miracle. Every one hundred years, for one day, Brigadoon appears on the Highlands. That very night all of the people go to sleep and wake up one hundred years later. Tommy feels that he could not stay forever in this town because of Harry's accidental death. ln a very touching and impressive mo- ment Fiona leaves to go hom'e and Tommy de- parts for New York. ln New York Tommy is united with his fiance Jane Ashton Walorie Glazej who seems to have changed quite a bit since his trip. Finally Tommy realizes that he can never love any one but Fiona and returns to where Briga- doon was. In the midst of the Highlands Mr. Lundie ap- pears to take Tommy back to his love, saying that even 'love can produce miracles. 203
