We've got spirit 'This year the Student Government roused student participation by sponsoring 2 spirit weeks. The first spirit week was held during the week of the homecoming football game. Due to the rain which fell all week long the floats had to parade in front of the school instead of traditionally around the track, but there was a great turn out for all of the activities which consisted of, a 50's day, Halloween day, noontime games and other dress up activities. The second spirit week was held to stir interest in the basketball games. The weather was nice and clear and noontime games were a success. There was a record breaker of 25 people in a Volkswagen among hoola-hoops, sack races, and other games. Participants had a great time and are look- ing forward to next year's spirit week celebrations. XM
