He can only paint the tricks that shadows play with it, or what it does to forms. Willa Cather These words have a special application to our task as a yearbook staii in producing the 1966 DARDA. The kaleid scopic features that go together to form a year on a college campus are much too complex to be dissected and analyzed. It i left for us to generalize and give impressions. It remains for you, the student, to take these impressions and discern for you self. ln the past the DARDA staffs have sought to present a record of a year at Trevecca through the media of copy and photography Our task remains the same but our approach has been different. The layout is new and will require your becoming accustome to it, Copy has been decreased and in some areas eliminated. Photography carries much of our expression. These pictures wer selected for two reasons: to record the events of the year and to capture the feelingof the moment. We are not qualified or prepared to state what this year at Trevecca has meant to you. Who can say what subjective exper' ences and intangibles have meaning for you, the individual student? It is our hope that we have captured some Heeting moment or lasting facet of Trevecca which awakens a memory that is your. and gives you a glimpse of yourself and 1966 at T. N. C.
