Dedication . . . PROFESSOR AND MRS. K. W. PHILLIPS Dean of Admissions, and Professor of Biblical Litera- ture; Publications Sponsor, and Professor of English Yesterday they, too, attended Trevecca, prepar- ing for future usefulness while contributing their share as student leaders — he as editor, she as class president. Both were active in Christian service foreshadowing their place of usefulness in God ' s vineyard. Today they serve — with such loyalty and sincer- ity that our admiration is aroused. Devotion to prin- ciple characterizes this man and duty is well attend- ed. His work with our counseling program has made it a vital and effective factor in student guidance. She is best characterized as a Christian lady. Her virtues are many and her ideals are strong. y defended. et her modest, gentle ways make her an example worthy of imitation. Tomorrow can bring only joy to these who have contributed so effectively to the shaping of young lives. They will reap rich rewards of blessings as God uses those whom they have trained and guided — in the classroom and by Christian example. 1

In Memoriam Mrs. Sadie Agnew Johnson 1869-1958 Professor Emeritus Jonathan Royce Redford 1945-1958 Son of Professor and Mrs. M, E. Redford Death is not an end, nor will it ever be. It is only the suppression of life for a fleeting moment, after which, he who is clothed in Ev- erlasting Life enters Eternity. Death is a be- ginning — the beginning of everything good and beautiful. It is an exchange, for he who would drape himself in the immortal robes of Life, must needs let fall his earthly garments. To him, whose aspirations are shrouded in a mist of hopelessness, Death is a bridge, across which the mist disappears and in the land of Reality, his dreams come true!
