MR, MACKEY I was tired, homesick, discouraged, and ready to leave, but Professor Mackey smiled at me and I decided to stay. Now I thank God for what Trevecca has meant to me during these two years, said one of our preacher boys not long ago. We can all say that President Mackey has helped us make major decisions by his attitude toward life, his beautiful Christian character, and his kind, quiet words of advice. We can never be the same as we were nor meet the problems of life as we did before being asso- ciated with such a man as he. He challenges us so forcibly and irresistibly that we feel that nothing is impossible. Our earnest prayer is that many more young people may be blessed as we have been by coming to know our President, Mr. Mackey.
