Located in CIC, the men of OI Division, called Operations Specialists, fformally RADARMEND, keep track of contacts in the air and keep us from hitting other ships at sea. The radio- men are communicators of TRENTON. Whether it be a conversation between ships or a telegram to the states, these men handle it. On the signal bridge, the second part of OC Division, the Signal- men silently communicate with other ships via flashing lights or flags. The responsibility of keeping the RM's communication equipment and OS's radar working is the job of Electronic Tech- nicians of OE Division. It takes hours of work at a time, but the job gets done. ,ff 5 r ,ff X jv 19 W
