Praphecy af the 611155 of 5 6 lfmr I 976 Capacrous Trenton bemg a natlonally famous crty for tts Nrght Club 11fe decrde to drop rn at the Trenton Brown Derby if 1 wh1le travelxng East Dnvmg along the enormous State Boulevard Freeway we notrce the Shannon Barber Shop centrally located between Ronald Specht s Insurance Agency and Kathy Keefe s TV Servrce As we get carrred away by the srghts our speedometer rtses and we hear a srren close behrnd Pullrng over to the srde we see the Chref of Pohce 1S Walter Reed and hrs companron Detectrve Bob Krng After our brref vrsrt wrth the mam offrcrals of the Trenton Pohce Dept we hop rn our jet propelled auto and observe a long lrne of people gorng 1nto Cecrl '1aylor's huge Kroger Store The rush rs because of a specral on Grnny Smrth s pr1ze turkeys from her huge Turkey Ranch Commencrng farther down the Boulevard we notxce Kelly s Ortgr nals an up to date dress shop wrth the world famous New York s Jenny Jema model mg and we notrce Ruth Vandeventer rs frnally buyrng that weddmg dress Just across from the dress shop we see Freda Breedmg s own Wrestlrng Arena and farther on Merrrll McCla1n s Home for aged Hot Rod dnvers Wrth the sun settrng rn the west we proceed on to the Club notrcmg rn huge letters on the btllboard as we pull rn that the specral attractxon rs Hollywood s famous smgers Phyllrs Evans and Ralph Jones now known as Blues Slngrng Evans and The Sprrrtual Srnger Jones Also 1n bnght lrghts a quartet consrstmg of Dudley Lovely Wendell Reece Rus sell Skrdmore and B111 Banks and a specral trampohne act by Ju11a Hacker Entenng the Club we are greeted and shown to our table by Benny Lakes and then pald a vxsrt by the nrght club manager Robert Hesselbrock Our orders are taken by Ruth Grbson, one ofthe Club wartresses Our food rs delrcrously prepared by the Club cook Polly Barton and our dnnks were superbly mtxed by the bartenders Don Wrlson and Ronald Brrch Notlc rng a crgarette grrl and recognrzrng her to be Phylhs Freeman we call her to our table Perfectly content wrth the elegance of Nrght Club ltfe the floor show begrns wrth a hne of chorus grrls and we notrce three famrhar faces Betty Adams Cornne Johnson and Wanda Graft Enjoyrng the floor show and also watchrng the famrhar faces entenng the Club we couldn t have mrssed the appearance of Katre Brelsford as the many news reporters crowded around her snapprng prctures etc for Katre B has frnrshed college tn Florrda and 15 now champron water skrer at Cypress Gardens Later we notrce two cou ples enterrng one rs a gentleman wrth L11 Kuna who rs now a nurse followrng IS the noted Professor Robert Hammond and Pat Ash a nurse from Chnst Hosprtal rn C1nc1n nam Robert rs from Ohro State Uruversrty where he spent hrs college years The last but not least famrhar couples to enter the Club are Marlene Fry and Pete wrth Marty s httle puppy and the now devoted farm w1fe Sue Houston and Charles Who knows maybe someday Trer1t0r1 really wrll be a large enough crty to have rts own famously known Trenton Brown Derby if 1 fSee you therej G C MURPHY CO 1044 Central Avenue Mrddletown I . . . . . . , . we .
