me af 1955 ram af 19751 As we gaze down upon the great menopolrs of Trenton 1l'1 the year 1975 we frnd many changes have been made throughout the years when our rocket shrp fmally lands at Rockne Taylor s space statron we are greeted by the foremost rovmg reporter of the Earth Gazette, Sally McKenney Followrng a very brref mtervrew wrth Sally she consents to show us around the c1ty QBy the way Trenton now has a total popula t1on of 1 000 001, As we scoot around rn our own Jet propelled auto we notrce that B111 Evan s Bar 8a Gr1ll has been turned rnto the famed La Trentonette N1ght Club Of course we stop the car and go rn Insrde we are greeted by the head warter Butch Arnold who shows us to a table The floor show rs Just begrnnmg and the featured dancers to our surprrse are our old frrends Jo Jenra, Lourse Lenos, Wanda Cornette Mary Shants and Pattr Lay They are backed by Nell Stretcher s Swxngm Slmgm , Crty Slrckers who are just back from their unrversal tour We learned later that Lowell Woodrey couldn t be wrth them tonrght because of a specral appearance on Mars Judy Beaty who 15 tonrght s guest smger wrth the band was Jomed by Davrd Proeschel, rn a charmmg duet lust as we are about to leave we notrce that Wanda Loman and her everlovrn companron occupy the table a few rows down We go over and chat wrth them for awlule and then dec1de rt s best we go So we b1d farewell to everyone and hop mto our car of the Space Patrol, has stopped two rough lookmg characters for speedrng on the run way The two characters just happened to be hm Johnson and Ron Stapleton We ex change a few words and contmue on our tour Soon we drscover a huge florescent srgn w1th an arrow po1nt1.ng to Martrn s Armory We went 111 and found that they were havmg wrestlmg matches tonlght and the mam event was just gettrng underway It rs between the Earth Angel, who 1S none other than JoAnn Hanna and Juprter s Darlmg The referee for the bout IS Don Klamo QBel1eve rt or notj After leavmg the armory we dec1de to drop mto the nearest Root Beer stand where Bernrce Abrams 15 the sole proprretor After talkrng wrth Bernrce she tells us that Charles Baker Homer Hacker Ronme Current, and Ken M11lron are all m the back room enjoyrng a strff card game We surely wouldn t want to mterrupt so we head back to the Space Statron On the way back, we notrce two old hrtch hrkers dressed rn Marme outfrts rt s those crazy fellows, Roy Tmcher and Jerry wrllrams As we zoom by the great Mramr Rrver we see Charl1e Werdle chuggrn by rn hrs portable submarme When we ftnally reach the statron we brd good by to Sally and clrmb aboard our rocket shrp Who knows maybe rn another twenty years we can agarn pay a v1s1t to the great metropolrs of TRENTON . . .
