The Balboa lighlweighls ollered no compelilion lo Coach Gordan Carlson's champs. The Mechanics ran away wilh lhe game, 45-IS. Lighlweighl Baslrelball Poly's liqhlweighl baslselball leam lcnown as lhe Lillle Menu, coached by Gordon Carlson, easily cornered lhe A.A.A. lille by oulplaying all ol lheir opponenls. Led by such players as Darian, Mclvlahon, XNallers, C'Donnell, and Kirsh, Poly won a lolal ol lwenly-one oul ol lwenly-lhree games, and wilh a lolal number ol poinls lwice as greal as lheir oppon- enls. The league average per game was lhirly poinls lor lhe leam. A new record was sel by Coach Carl- son, a newcomer lo Polylechnic, by coaching a cham- pionship leam.
