The team, lacking experienced players, had a 2-ll, won-loss record. Captain Dave Henegar and Gary McLenr1on were the only seniors on the team. Coach Bevier expects a much better showing next year. But- bo, Coach Bevier The 62 Trojan Cross-country team, led by co-captains Bob Ma- comber and jim McCloskey, closed out the season with a 6-3 won- loss record. This makes a total of 108 wins scored by Trenton High cross-country teams since 1947 when the sport was first introduced. The Trojans did sur- prisingly well wdespite the numer- ous injuries which plagued them throughout the season. The Reserves lead by Roy Pask, Larry Layne, Manuel Guerra, Bob jones, and Charles Lawson had a 17-3 record for the season.
