The team, lacking experienced players, had a 2-ll, won-loss record. Captain Dave Henegar and Gary McLenr1on were the only seniors on the team. Coach Bevier expects a much better showing next year. Row l: R. West, E. Work, Thon, J. Frabutt, Walters, D. Henegar, K. Toth. Row 2: K. Supplee, G. Mc- Lennon, A. Lucidi, G. Kingdom, C. Pressotto, D. Vanllooser, M. But- bo, Coach Bevier The 62 Trojan Cross-country team, led by co-captains Bob Ma- comber and jim McCloskey, closed out the season with a 6-3 won- loss record. This makes a total of 108 wins scored by Trenton High cross-country teams since 1947 when the sport was first introduced. The Trojans did sur- prisingly well wdespite the numer- ous injuries which plagued them throughout the season. The Reserves lead by Roy Pask, Larry Layne, Manuel Guerra, Bob jones, and Charles Lawson had a 17-3 record for the season.

The 1962 Trenton tennis squads did nothing to mar the fine traditions of Trojan tennis. Although the league championship eluded them for the only third time in the past 16 years, the varsity placed second. Missing from the picture next season will be the graduates Jim Julian, Jerry Beauman, Jesse Pitt, Ray Bergeron, and John Reabe. Individually, Julian stood out as one of the best in the long line of bril- liant racquetteers. He is rated as the Y best left-hander in the school's his- v X tory, placing third in the State Region- J als, and third in the Invitationals. The reserve squads drilled in fun- damentals and techniques of the sport by Prosh Coach Jack Doyle, will do much to enrich the talents of future teams. Row 1: T. Bums, G. Kuharsky, R. Spen- A Cer, J.
