This experience, plus a depth of reserve talent coming from the freshman squad, helped Coach Pat Bevier's nine get oft to a fast start. They 'Finished the season in third place with a won-loss re- cord of seven and four. Coach Ro n ,W v Oestrike's squad finished with a league record of four wins, one loss, and a non-league record of two wins and one tie.
