Chronology JANUARY The first big snow and cold weather finally came with the coming of January. Everyone was out tobogganlng and skating while the good weather lasted. The de- pressive spirit that settled on many students from our 'tough' exams was lifted by the biggest formal affair of the year ----- the Senior Prom featuring Ray 0berschu1te's orchestra. For those unable to attend this big event, the Poor Man's Prom was given the following night. FE BRUA RY Juniors anxiously awaited their rings for several weeks when they failed to ar- rive on the date set. A King and Queen of Hearts were chosen at the Valentine dance. We sadly mourned the passing of Mr. Catt, one of our best liked teachers. MARCH We predict that the baseball and track teams under the Coaches Wendt and Mallnowskl will have their usual good year. The basketball team will end its suc- cessful season. The Teenster's Cabaret party will be the party of the year. Gazing into our crystal ball, we also foresee a spectacular event ----- The Aquacades with two famous celebrities. Ann Curtlss and Adolph Kiefer. A PRIL Thls month will see the T. H. S. boys putting ln their bids for the biggest event of the month ----- the annual I-Hop featuring a well known orchestra. Mr. Leiter will be tearing out hls hair t?J getting ready for the presentation of the all school play. Easter vacation will be enjoyed by all. MAY With spring in full swing we predict many new romances. We hope for an early arrival of the MONGUAGON although we probably will be disappointed. The annual GB League music festival will be attended by the Chorus. The beaming faces seen will belong to Seniors who have been granted Senior privileges. JUNE This big month will be ushered ln by many important events. Field Day, Skip Day, junior-Senior plcnlc, Recognition Assembly, Baccalaureate, and finally Commence- ment will all help ln making this the best and busiest month for the Seniors. There will be many tears and smiles as the Class of '49 bids old T. H. S. 'Good Bye' and says 'thanks for all the good times we have had .
