Senior Ufficors and Sponsors Huntly Boyd: President of the class, has participated in swimming and track. He is also president of the Varsity Club and co-captain of the swim- ming team. Roy Price: Our class vice-president for two years, a star in football and debate, and a member of the Mogggaggn staff. Chrissie MacDonald: Secretary of the class for two years, editor of the , and an active member of Teensters and Glee Club. '-' Margaret Henry: Treasurer of the Senior Class, active in dramatics, secretary of Thespians, and member of Glee Club. Class Motto--- 'With the ropes of the past we will ring the bells of the future.' Class Flower- Rose L Class Colors-- Red and White HIGHLIGHTS OF 1948-1949 The first exciting event which happened was the shock of seeing our picture proofs. After ordering and receiving the final pictures, however, everyone agreed that the results were pretty good. The Christmas assembly was the next highlight of our big year, and a big success--everyone enjoying the carols, the Senlor choir, and the Christmas play, 'A Miracle for Mary . Returning from our Christmas vacation, we rushed to make final preparations for our Senior Prom. After some debating, the class settled on the theme, 'The Blue Room , and with Jerry Teller in charge of the decorations, the Prom was a big success. The musical background was furnished by Ray Oberschault. Toward the end of January there was also a rush to meet the Mongggon deadline, with all members working earnestly to make this year's Huggy the best ever. We now look forward to the final activities of our Senior year, Recognition Assembly, Bac- calaureate, and Commencement--the flnal farewell to fam' wonderful years in Slocum Truax High School.
