Foretelling The Future of The Class of '52 Would you like to see what ten years had done for the class of 1952? Do you remember one of our be st students, Arthur Trippel, who al- ways was a friendly chap? Well, he is the coach at Washington Univers- ity. Then comes our dear little bundle of laughter, Lois Trippel. She has now become Mrs. Donald Kline and has a daughter. They are living in Lebanon, Illinois. Then we come to another married woman, Anita Fogchtmann, known to all as Buttie . She is now Mrs. James Zeisset. James Zeisset owns his own greenhouse which is the biggest in the United States. Now we come to our greatest basketball player, Mar-yin Wghilf, known to all as Bum , He travels and is known all over the world as the most famous basketball player. Susan Dodson who always wrote different articles for us, now owns her own newspaper which is called The Dodson Journal . She now lives in Chicago. Robert Schoene who is well known as Jake , is now Captain Schoene in the United States Army. You should hear some of his war winning stories. Next we come to Russell Henss who was the Jolson in our class. He is the most famous singer in the world. People pay as much as five cents for his autograph. Marilene Kunz, known as Rosa , is the private secretary to the Governor of Illinois. She is engaged to one of the leading politicians. James Spihlman is now one of the grestest contractors of the United States. He is married to the daughter of the Governor of New York and has three children. Richard Schmitt, known as Cuddles , is the Vice-President of the United States. He always knew a lot about politics. Jerry Winkler, known as Tute , owns his own Confectionery in New York. lbelieve he has ten beautiful women as his employees. As you know he was always popular with the women. Elaine Heuberger is now in the United States Waves and is stationed at Alaska. She was always crazy about the service. 14

Mary Clare Dermodx is now a Registered Nurse and is employed in St. Louis. She was always trying to find something wrong with everyone. Last but not least, we have Mary Ellen Kaufmann who is married to an Admiral and is living in Hawaii. She was always interested in going overseas. SENIOR PLAY The Senior play, Constable .Terry from Fulton's Ferry by Nate Foster Holmes, was presented in April in the Trenton Public School Gymnasium. A nice crowd attended and the play was well accepted by everyone. The following is a synopsis of the characters and the story: THE PLAYERS Jerry Winkle---the constable of Fulton's Ferry .... . . . L ois Trippel THE STORY Eddie Bond returns to Fulton's Ferry from college to find the en- tire town excited about the placing of a new bridge which is to take the place of a worn-out ferry boat. His mother, a widow and the village postmistress, owns one storeroom which would make a valuable corner if the end of the bridge came out on one street. Mort Flint, the town mortgage holder and manager of the general store, with the aid of his henchman, Alf Perkins, a male gossip and insinuating trouble breeder, tricks Mrs. Bond into selling her property for far less than it will be worth. However, .Terry Winkle, the constable, and a true -blue friend of Mrs. Bond, finds out about the deal, and with the help of I-Ienry Tilton's brother from the city---a bridge expert who does not reveal that it is teeth he knows about and not steel bridges --get Mort to give up his purchase. The property returns to Mrs. Bond, the bridge goes in at the right street, Eddie meets the right girl, the village Uplift Society, who have meddled in the affair, are shown up in their true colors, and all ends happily.
