Agaicaf giclucafion Under the guidance of the health department every pupil is giv- en an opportunity to improve and safeguard his mental and physical health. All students who have not been excused by a physician par- ticipate daily in some form of physical activity. In addition to the varsity teams, there is a well organized intramural sports program. In the fall the girls' classes take an active part in softball, archery, and tennis. NVhen indoors, they compete in basketball, service ball. and prepare for Sports Nite. This year swimming has been added to the curriculum. The boys likewise have an extensive course to follow including outdoor activity in football, soccer, baseball, and track. Their in- door activities are centered around basketball and swimming and also a major interest is taken by the boys in calisthenics and obstacle courses.
