Pau! low, Wh. Q. Today Trenton is educating its pupils for the duties and opportunities of an emerging new world. At the same time it is not neglecting to emphasize the sound American principles which have made our country great. This realistic philosophy of education is due to the un- usual leadership given to the Trenton School System by its superintendent, Dr. l'aul I,oser. In addition to executing his exacting duties as head of the public schools of Trenton, Dr. I,oser finds time to serve on various boards of trustees. He brings to civic and educational projects the benefit of years of experience as teacher, prin- cipal and superintendent of schools. As a result. the Trenton schools and llr. I.oser have the confidence and respect of a ll the community.

Trenton has been consistently and un- usually fortunate in having such a Board of liducation. Because of the service and vision of this group, the Trenton schools have success- fully met the challenge and problems con- fronting a large school system in these unsettled times. The Board has supported policies to further racial tolerance, to increase world-mindedness and to inculcate Amer- ican values. The members of the Board have not only provided the education for a good life but the example of good living as well. Trenton youth is already appre- ciative of what these men have done. As time goes on, this appreciation will in- crease.
