Such an epithet must be used in describing the relationship which ex- ists between the Trenton Board of Education and the superintendent. lvlotivated by sincere interest in the welfare of youth, the board and llr. Loser have worked incessantly for the maintenance of a school system which would insruct its charges in the American way of life. Although the material facilities of education which they have provided are conducive to such a good, free way of life, a more potent factor in achieving this goal has been their example of democratic fellowship.

Spencer, as principal of Trenton Central High School, continues to make the educa- tional program substantial and progressive.
