LEADER DEVOTED TO OUR PROGRESS Dedicated leaders play a vital role in the drama of Catholic education. As such, Bishop Ahr, Monsignor Frain, and Monsignor McCor- ristin, each in his own capacity, magnificently fill this role. Unselfishly they are aware of the needs of the diocese and expend time and energy in the service of their flock. The Christian education of youth is one of their prime interests. It is their aim to preserve the Catholic school sys- tem in its integrity and to keep it in pace with an ever-changing world. Their devotion to their priestly vocation, their spirit of sacrifice, of service, and of zeal for souls are a source of inspiration to all. See- ing these qualities, we are happy to follow their leadership. We are not unmindful of all they have done for us, and we shall always remem- ber them with gratitude. We wish them every blessing in their work for God, which we hope they will be able to continue for many years to come. The Most Reverend MICHAEL P. MCCORRISTIN, V.G., P.A Founder and Director of St. Anthony High School Monsignor McCorristin and Sister John Joseph preside at the induction of members into the National Honor Society, the first such ceremony to be held here.

SISTER M. AGNES SISTER M. ALICE SISTER M. ANN FRANCIS, O.S.F. CECILIA, O.S.F. MICHELE, O.S.F. FACULTY SERVICE REFLECTS S.A. SPIRIT . Among our best memories will be those of our teachers, for without them there would be no St. Anthony High. As in every educational institution, they are the keystone of the structure. The Sisters of St. Francis, the priests of St. Anthony Parish, and the lay teachers, working together, are an example to us of respect and cooperation. Intently, they devote each day to the spiritual, intellectual, and cultural for- mation of the students. In their hands ad- vanced curricula have fused modern interests and spiritual motives. - Many of them in addition to regular teaching duties, spend long hours after class, coaching teams or moderating activities. Through their efforts, joined with those of our founder Mon- signor McCorristin, St. Anthony High has grown not only in size but also in quality. Answering the telephone is just one of the many duties of Mrs. Ryan, main office secretary. MRS. MARY BELLI 6 MR. FRANK REVEREND WILLIAM BENCIVENGO BOHNSACK
