SENICR CLASS WILL Known to all men, and being of sound mind and body, herein is the last will and testi- mony of the 1953 Senior Class of Ole Trent High. To the Juniors, who willbe seniors another year, we leave all our troubles, mistakes, arrogancy, blunders, and heartaches attained by us this, our last high school year, which has beenthe most exciting year yet experienced in our young lives, along with the following individual possessions! Allen King leaves to the 1954 Gorilla Editor a shot of strychnine and to James Wilks he leaves his poor humor and hot temper. J. M. Heatly leaves his busted lips and athletic ability to Phill Goodwin, Amelia Martin wills her way with men and boy friends to Glenda Reynolds, and her slim figure to Sylvia Taylor. Jimmy Winn leaves his red hair to Dallas Gore and his appetite to Bobby Barnes. Leon Dudley leaves his sly ways and ability to lie and keep a straight face to Joe Scott. Bill Young wills his curly hair and long eye lashes to Venita Quattlebaum. C.W. Edwards wills his ways and means of missing classes and being late to Elton Freeman and Robert Payne. Leroy Armstrong leaves his hot-rod driving ability to Tommy Jones. Benton Yandell leaves his singing talent to his kid brother, Jesse. W. A. Dennis wills his way with women and good looks to Mervin Roberts. Bobby Toliver leaves part of his height to Shirley Carter and his pleasures of being a senior to Barbara Edwards. To Miss Payne we leave best wishes for a happier year with a more brilliant and studious class to sponsor. Also we realize we are leaving her a few more grey hairs. To Mr. W.B. Williams we leave an expression of gratitude and appreciation for the things he has done to make our senior year a. very happy and pleasant one. To the sophomores and freshmen we leave the art of raising a class flag and keeping it furled in the blue. COMPLIMENTS Ann's Beauty Shop X Ben F1-anldin Merkel, Texas Merkel, Texas
