Qur Exchange Student What has my year in America meant to me? What have I learned as a Senior at Tremont High School? ---- These are some of the questions which come to my mind now when there are onlya few weeks till graduation. As I look back it seems like the beautiful Septem- ber Sunday when I came to Tremont cou1dn't be eight months ago. How- ever, when you enjoy yourself, time goes always too fast. I have, as a student in high school, learned a lot of things from the different classes, which will be a very good help in my future life. In addition to the academic education, I think I have learned something even more valuable during my year here---how to live with other people and see how-much individuals are alike, although they live in different countries and speak different languages. There are many things during this school year which will have a special place in my memory. The welcoming I received, Homecoming, the basketball games--especially the Farmington and Morton games, the wrestling matches, and all other school activities. Another interesting side of school life has been the school spirit which I have admired since the first pep rally. As we approach the coming graduation, I look forward to that day with different feelings than most Seniors. To me, graduation means not only leaving school, but leaving behind many good friends, whom I have come to know during this short time. However, I will always remember the friendliness, thoughtfulness, and understanding I have been met with from the faculty, the student body--in fact, everyone in Tremont. fm QU ,aaaf cuff This Page Sponsored By JACK 8: BILL'S SPORTING GOODS Peoria, Illinois
