We, the members of the Senior Class of 1966 of Tremont High School, being of sound and intelligent minds, do hereby bequeath our numerous talents, characteristics, and habits of our last will and testament to the following classes, teachers, and students. As a class we will the following: To the Board of Education, we will the ability to hire and fire accurately. To Jan and Judy, we will a year's supply of staplers. To Amy and the cooks, we will a student body that will eat as much as they gripe. To the custodians, we will a self-cleaning hallway. To Mrs. Beutel, we will a certificate of accomplishment for her history making debut of a boys' home economics class. To Mr. Bourns, we will goldfish immune to chalk dust and individually equipped with their own shields to protect them from rocks. To Mr. Bruell we will a burglar-proof office and safe. To Mrs. Burk, we will a life's subscription to Senior Scholastic so that she may work the crossword puzzles whenever she so desires. To Mrs. Cluts, we will a quiet library. To Mr. Cluts, we will our deepest appreciation for seeing us through our sophomore, junior, and senior years as our class sponsor because we wouldn't have made it through without him. To Mr. Evans, we will a 90-piece band with 89 Carol Sues. To Mr. Hopkins, we will an alarm that keeps time so he won 't have to sneak in the back door on Monday mornings. To Mrs. Kincaid, we will a senior P, E. class that doesn't write answers to her tough tests on their tennis shoes. To Mr. Kisellus, we will an automatic whistle so he can save his wind for cooling his coffee. To Mr. Lang, we will a guidance counselor. To Mrs. Moore, we will a convenience award for her ability to come to the rescue of TCHS when they need her most, no matter what the field is. To Mr. Shannon, we will his own personal truant officer so his time won 't be wasted by cross -examinations. To Mrs. Sommer, we will tractor weights for her V,W. to keep it on the road on slippery days. To Mrs. Sparrow, we will a pair of snowy -white wings to go with last year's halo. To Mr. Sprehe, we will a pumpkin proof house and a bottle of tranquilizers. To Mrs. Springer, we will an air bubble to protect her from cold germs. To Mr. Tyler, we will a lifetime supply of Tylic acid so he won 't have to wait a while for a new shipment. To Mr. Vedder, we will 356. With this he can send his baseball score book to Ripley 's Believe It or Not Museum. To Mr. Weinstein we will 2 6' 4 --38-25-38 cupie dolls--one blonde--the other brunette. To the Juniors, we will a lovers' lane for use during the noon hour. To the Sophomores, we will the freshmen class 's energy and spirit! To the Freshmen, we will the intelligence, maturity, and personality -plus of the fast talking, slow walking, good look- ing senior class. AS INDIVIDUALS WE WILL THE FOLLOWING: I, Mike Barnard, will my wrestling ability to Mr. Shannon. l, Lanny Beecham, will to Simon Wagenbach a gold church key, in hopes Harry's will never close down. I, John Birky, will a paper cutter and a green marking pencil to the back two rows of boys in the sixth hour chemistry class. I, Carol Burkey, will my ability to be heard but not seen to Susie Funk who is usually seen and not heard. I, Russell Clair, will to Mr. Bruell my scholarship to Souther Hawaiian Institute of Technology because I have been dis- qualified. I, Sharon Cook, will my quiet ways to Janice Watts in hopes that she will someday use them. I, Lynette Dietrich, will my half-electrocuted gold fish to next year's physics class for a project. I, Marsha Dorsey, will my sister, Kris, to the Salvation Army in hopes that they will save her. I, Mike Dorsey, will to Mr. Bruell a curl from my red hair. I, Tim Eliott, will my ability to, throw paper airplanes in chemistry and not get caught to Randy Reid. 1, Maizie Frank, will my ability to do a cartwheel to Mrs. Kincaid. I, Jan Frederick, will to Debbie Schmidgall the ability to stay out of trouble next yearg the opposite of what I did. l, Laina Greiner, will my ability to answer questions distinctly, clearly, and directly to Mr. Lang who delights in an- swering a question with who knows? I, Janice Herman, will my reserved parking place to whoever wants to lean how to parallel park.
