As we looked around the room we realxzed there was a celebrlty among us the pres1dent of the largest Lonellest Lonely Hearts Club IH the world former Ilene Pflederer She states that she IS wtth her thtrd husband but 1S st1ll looklng for me perfect man Then Judy Moore announced that she lS none other than the famous eccentrtc patnter who hves LI! X CLASS HISTOR f 4 In the fall of 1903 forty four green freshmen entered the busy hfe of lugh school To help us tn our class bus1ness we chose: Ronald Htld Prestdent Carol Hundt Vtce Prestdent Eva Lynn Htnman Secretary and Jeannette Wagenbach Reporter Mrs Mustakas served as our adytser S1nce we were allowed two members of Student Counctl we chose Paul Stuber and Nola Slack. Of course we were proud of our freshmen cheerleaders Eva Lynn Hmman Bonnte Berchtold and Nancy Noard Many of our boys Jotned athlettc organtzanons namely football and basketball. Our sophomore year was very excmng as the high school moved mto a new bualdtng and of course tt took a few days to adjust ourselves to our new surroundtngs That year our offtcer ltneup was Norma Schurter Prestdent Paul Stuber V1ce Prestdent Nancy board Secretary J1m Hutchtson Treasurer and Sande Washer Reporter Student Counctl members were Carol Hundt and Lyle Myer Our advtser was Mtss Schnetder At tlus ttme we numbered forty three as we gatned Marsha Brooks but lost B111 Brewer and Beverly Ide The hlghltght of our sopho more year was the fact that after much to1l and sweat oar float won ftrst place tn the Home commg Parade The Junlor year was a b1g one Smce we were now ehgtble to make money for our future trtp we were pretty busy trytng to beat the Semors to the punch! We held a Sock Hop a Thanks mvmv Dance several car washes and of course had our class play Be Happy? Co Wack ' whtch was as much fun as work Our offtcers for tlus year were Paul Stuber Presxdent Bonnte Berchtold Vtce Prestdent Carol Powers Secretary and Judy Kay Sauder Treasurer Now that we were constdered upperclassmen we were able to choose three Student Counc1l representattves Lyle Meyer Carol Hundt and Norma Schurter We also rated two adv1sers Mrs DHVIS and Mtss Frampton And lf seemed as we grey older our number decreased 1905 56 saw thtrty mne members of the Jumor class We gatned Terrx Gardner whlle we lost Robert Baer Ronald Cooper George Kenny Paul Noe and Marsha Brooks The hlghltght of th1s year was of course the Juntor Semor Prom wtth an or1ental theme Our sentor year saw only thu-ty s1x members as we lost Ronald Htld Robert Hundt and Sande Washer Our offtcers were Terry Gardner Prestdent Norma Schurter Vtce Prestdent Bonnte Berchtold Secretary and Judy ann Sauder Treasurer Student Counc1l Representatlves were Jerry Sauder Marvm Frank and our two old stand bys Lyle Meyer and Carol Hundt The sentor class advtser was Mrs Dav1s As Semors we had many acttvtttes to earn money an after game dance a Chtllt Supper a Ham and Bean Supper a St Patrtclt s Day Dance and many Saturday bake sales all for our long awatted tr1p The Homeconung celebranons were spectal as Kmtg and Queen were chosen from our classmates The luck two were Larry Rlggenbach and Carol Hundt Then events moved so fastthat we hardlx realtzed ll The Jumor Sentor Prom when we came as guests our tr1p and then the btg chmax graduauon' Xnd so tn 1937 our paths separated as we prepared to set out tn the world on our own 25 XXX XX X Y f f, ' - u 1: ' - ' ' ' .
