We, the Senior Class of 1948 of Tremont High School, Tremont, Illinois, being of sound Bind and memory, do make publish, decree, and declare this our last will and testament. In manner and form as follows) Firsts We will and bequeath, and If It comes right down to It, we will even give the junior Class our ability to organize class parties. Second: We do direct our athletlo ability to the Sophomores. Thirdi To the Freshmen Class we give and bequeath and devise our fclllty to walk out of the assembly first. Fourths To the school we do here- by will our large standing class debt. Fifths To the following teachers we will and transpose Individually: To Miss Koch we will our ability to use a stapling machine. To Mrs. Hinman we shift and trans- pose a History Class of brilliancy equal to the Class of '48. To Miss Schneider we will and be- queath a warm English Class in the cava. To Mr. Stone we will and bequeath our knowledge of the city of Peoria. To Mrs. Stone we shift and trans- pose another Algebra Class with all boys except one. To Mrs. Sparrow we will and direct a quiet third-hour study hall. To Mr. Oetz we will our ability to get along with the Freshmen. To Mr. Bode we leave an all-girl study hall. To Coach Wolf we transpose and be- queath a Frankenstein football team and a new bow tie. To Mr. Adcox we leave our ability to keep the study hall clean. To Joan Miller, the office girl,we hereby bequeath a slot machine to supply nickels for the coke machine. Last,but not least,we do forthwith hereby and above all, will and bequeath our individual characteristics In the manner such as follows: I, Dick Anderson, do hereby direct my ability to pick up Pekin women to Vernon Winzeler. I, Jack Anderson, do will and be- queath my ability to wield a cue stick to Septic. I, James Bell, do devise and be- study hall to Leroy Wineburner. I, Betty Brown, will and trans- pose my flirty ways to Louise Cameron. I, Bob Gibson,will my weak ankles and loose joints to anyone who wants them. I, Wilbur Glffhorn, do direct and bequeath my running stride to Mr.Getz. I, Darlene Hampton, will and be- queath my boisterous ways to Leonard Grubb. I, Carol Hasty, do direct and transpose my giggle to Joan Keller. I, Joyce Hazelman, will and be- queath my speech- making ability to Coach Wolf. I, Carol Koch, do hereby trans- pose my king-size to Donna Fox. I, Curt Koch, do direct and be- queath my ability to see whom I am boxing to Dwayne Stuber. I, Bernadlno Lutz, do will and bequeatn my ability to walk fast to Hawkeye Moser. I, Gene McCoy, do hereby direct and transpose my ability to get along with teachers to whoever can use it the most. I, Bill Mason, do hereby direct my quiet ways to Richard Powers. I, Vera Moser, do hereby direct my slight figure to Virginia Williams. I, Margaret Noe, leave my out-of- town boy friends to Donna Hendershott. I, Allen Oyer, do hereby will and bequeath my numerous girl friends to Vernon Winzeler. I, Mary Paine, do hereby will and transpose my basketball ability to Louise Mclrvln. I, Jim Pfladerer, do hereby be- queath my ability to make mad,passion- ate love to Gale Barton. I, Bob Powers, will and bequeath my fast right hook in boxing to Alvin Beutel. I, Elsie Schaefer, do will my studious ways to Duke Welty. I, Maxine Schaumleffle, bequeath my gift of gab to Nancy Koch. I, Floyd Stuber, devise, and be- queath my silky beard to Don Nieuklrk. I, June Rapp, do transpose all my flattering pictures to anyone who needs them.
