To the Clam of 1949: Forty years ago, 1909, the lirst T-E class graduated from the first joint high school in Pennsylvania. Dur- ing the first decade the average size of the classes was nineteeng during the past ten years the average size has been one hundred twenty-five. These T-E graduates are now in business, pro- fessions, shops, offices, and homesg they are your parents. It is our sincere hope that you may have acquired the true spirit of T-E, that your learning here will be a real asset to you as citizens, workers, parents, and intelligent human beings with a will to do your part, to do it well, whatever the task may be.
